Custom-Built for the Community
As a partner of BRAVAS, The McKenzie Collection needed something special for their new model located in a new golf community in Zionsville, IN. BRAVAS was able to tailor each room to their client’s individual tastes in a community to match their personality. Read on to see how this project was custom-built to fit the neighborhood.
Main-level living homes are perfect for families looking to simplify their life without sacrifice. This presented an opportunity for a lighting design plan by BRAVAS’ Jose Saavedra that would accent certain aspects of McKenzie’s design. One of the challenges for lighting in a main-level home is that there is limited wall space and ceilings. To combat the space limitation for wall switches, lights are controlled by Savant’s New Generation Lighting Product, which allows for scene control in a simple 4-button keypad. For the high ceilings, Jose selected an impressive 29,000 Lumen accent light that illuminates the Main level living space while also accenting the reclaimed wood beams. The finished product was both functional and beautiful.
The property features two incredible golf courses, so it only made sense to incorporate a Full Swing Golf simulator in the home so potential homeowners can practice their swing and work on perfecting their game in the off-season. This golf simulator boasts the most iconic courses with the most innovative software in golf and allows users to recreate every facet of the game.
BRAVAS also elected to use the Savant platform for all other smart home features in the home. Special attention was paid to automate many of the features that will be used every day. Timed events were programmed to turn on and off lighting, music, and video systems. The Savant remote controls have available options for Siri voice control integration, so those who prefer to speak their mind won’t be disappointed.
