1. Wi-Fi connected thermostats. While this has already started becoming a trend, we’re hoping to really see it take off. New smart thermostats are compatible with the majority of HVAC systems, something that had previously been an issue. With the high costs and inefficiencies no longer being an issue, this technology can save you time and money!
2. Robot vacuums we can trust. Robotic vacuums have also been around for some time, but they encountered a ton of issues before they got better. You probably remember them running into walls, getting trapped in corners, etc. However manufacturers have really upped the anty on sensors and smart technology within vacuums, hoping to improve overall functionality.
3. Wi-Fi connected light bulbs. Yes, this is exactly what it sounds like! You can connect your lighting to smartphone, tablet or computer, and control details as far as the dimness of your lighting directly from your devices. 4. Alarm-system advancements. Internet connected home alarm systems are something we’ve been aware of for a while, but hasn’t been pushed heavily on the market. 5. Smart locks. Yes, this is becoming a thing! Smart locks are being introduced for you to unlock and lock your door from your smartphone when you’re away, and you’ll get notifications to your phone when someone is touching them.
