Sugarloaf Leisure Living Tour Showcases Home Technology

Sugarloaf Country Club - BRAVAS AtlantaRecently, the Women´s Club of Sugarloaf Country Club Charities, Inc. hosted its Fifth Annual Leisure Living Tour. In addition to showcasing the outdoor living spaces and indoor terrace levels of five beautiful homes within the community, the event included a Leisure Craft Show at the TPC Sugarloaf Country Club featuring boats, personal watercraft, aquatic equipment, and recreational vehicles from several local dealers and retailers. The homes featured an "All Around The World" theme. Each home was decorated with a festive party theme from one of five different countries and food and drinks were served at each home. BRAVAS Atlanta was proud to participate in this event by exhibiting and providing information to attendees about the home automation and technology which they had recently installed in one of the homes included on the tour. The package that our team installed in the home included -

  • Savant Automation System is controllable from iPads and Smartphones which includes system controls, whole house music, lighting control, surveillance cameras, security system, and even a pool interface.
  • Throughout the home music sources includes a Request Media Server and approximately 16 zones of audio.
  • A Lutron lighting system - with approximately 75 switches to control individual lights and set scene lighting.
  • 8 Day/Night cameras with DVR Recorder and internet access for live streaming and recorded views.
  • Interface with a security system and the ability to view garage doors and open them remotely for access.
  • High Definition TVs including one mounted in the outdoor living space as well as an upgrade of an existing projector to a JVC 3D projector.

This house was an existing home installation/retrofit which previously had only included a few zones of music, with 95% of the equipment being new to the home. The BRAVAS Atlanta team was able to accomplish this installation with a minimum of disruption to the homeowners due to their expertise in installing home automation in existing homes. All proceeds from the event went to benefit four very worthy local charities: Partnership Against Domestic Violence(PADV), Rainbow Village, Inc., Spectrum Autism Support Group, Inc., and Wellspring Living.
