BRAVAS Case Study:
an exceptional entertainment
retreat
"This project began as a request for a golf simulator, which turned into a stunning entertainment retreat, as well as a whole home automation system that simplified life for the entire family."
“We had a very large Barco Projector going in for video in the theater area of the room,” Mac explained. “The basement room shared both the golf simulator and the home theater. Because we were brought in early, we saw that if the soffit was extended just a small amount, we could put the projector entirely into it so that it’s quiet and always out of sight. We worked together with the builder, and the client was extremely happy about this adjustment.”
The client wanted entertainment seating or a couch setup where the kids would not fight over who got the best seat in the house for family movie nights. BRAVAS worked closely with Salamander Designs to provide Talia seating that included motorization and even “butt shakers” in every seat so everyone had the same experience.
The overall project included Lutron Palladiom lighting and shading, a Control4 system and several Sony TVs, including an 85-inch above the fireplace upstairs. Speakers included James Loudspeakers, a small Sonance aperture system and Kef Speakers in the theater/golf simulator space.
