Trent Honey

Meet Trent Honey
Originally from Oklahoma, Trent is a grandfathered-in KC native, living in the Kansas City area for 20 years where he met his wife and had his three sons. Trent has been on the BRAVAS team since 2014 and has 15+ years of industry experience. The audio/video world has always been something that has come naturally to Trent, from hooking up video games at a young age to being in awe of the first flat screen tv he saw. Trent’s first career experience came from an electronics retail, and from there the fire was lit. Trent provides clients and staff with a vast knowledge base, as well as excellent customer service
Chris Axe

Meet Chris Axe
New to the BRAVAS team (2019) and the Kansas City area, Chris has 30 years of experience in the electronics industry. In his time, Chris has welcomed many changes, from the days of setting the VCR clock to the advanced technology we see in homes today. All of those early experiences taught Chris a deeper level of communication and relationship-building with his customers, instead of the usual and cold “tech conversation”. In 2019, Chris became the BRAVAS- Kansas City Service Department Manager, bringing with him his love for electronics and customer service. Chris’ joy in life, aside from technology, are his 5 super techy children and one grandchild.
Steve Smith

Meet Steve Smith
Serving on BRAVAS- Kansas City’s Sales & Design team as the Installation Manager since 2010, Steve is a 19-year industry veteran of system design and implementation of multiple control systems: specializing in Elan, Savant and Lutron programming and system commissioning. He is currently involved with multiple beta test teams for our manufacturers, where he assists in the development and fine tuning of new products and features. Steve keeps an eye on the future of technology, while focusing on client experience. Utilizing his background in both music production and AV system design, he is able to translate complex concepts in a way that clients can both understand and get excited about. As he likes to say, “If turning a new system up for the first time doesn’t get your blood pumping a bit, what’s the point?”. Steve has lived in the Kansas City area 10 years, has a wife and three children, and a delightful dachshund named Daisy.
Brandon Trimble
Sales & Design
Meet Brandon Trimble
Brandon graduated from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. While attending KU Brandon served on the cheerleading squad for three years which gave him the opportunity to attend all of the games and ultimately make him a die-hard KU fan. Brandon’s initial career goal was to join the FBI as a criminal profiler, but during his studies he found a passion for sales. Brandon’s love for investigating problems and bringing solutions, paired with the many hours he spent experimenting with different technologies, led him to discover a passion for technology sales and design. Brandon began working in the custom design field and found his niche in building long-lasting, trusted relationships with clients, handling their home design projects from inception to fruition and has been on the BRAVAS team since 2013. Brandon takes great pride in his field and is a self-taught programmer for many of the home technology systems that he designs and sells, making him an especially effective designer.
Steve Foster

Meet Steve Foster
A Kansas native, where he resides with his wife and two sons, Steve has a strong connection with the local vibe and growth experienced of the Kansas City area. He is an alumni of the University of Kansas with degrees in economics. As with most experts in our industry, the love of technology and music morphed from an enjoyable hobby to a career, where he now serves on Kansas City’s Sales & Design team, joining BRAVAS in 2017. Steve has been a part of the luxury automation industry since 1998 as part of Midwest rep firm specializing in high end equipment. Steve had the opportunity to experience and learn from every integrator during that time and chose to incorporate the very best practices into his projects. Naturally, the user experience is paramount when creating the best possible solution for his clients. Steve is a CEDIA certified low voltage system designer and partners with NARI, HBA, architects, interior designers and remodelers.
